Ask and Go Play!

I’ve received lots of phone calls and emails since I arrived on Jan. 1st and am continuing to book people to join me in my intention of being surrounded by like-minded people while on this Caribbean island.
I’ve mentioned before that some people back home tried to discourage me from coming here with dire warnings of the economy and my running out of money. But I decided two years ago that I wasn’t going to live a life of fear any longer, and I didn’t see the need to change that now.
Abraham teaches that we can live in what the world calls ‘reality’ and have none of that be our own personal reality. To live in calmness and peace and faith that everything we’ve ever asked for is on its way is the only order of the day.
But this can also be our biggest stumbling block. When those ‘big things’ we’ve asked for don’t arrive within one week or so….we obsess, worry and thus keep them from ever arriving on our doorstep. We know that. We’ve heard that before. But we still at least sometimes start thinking, “Where is it?” Don’t we? I know I do.
So what’s the answer? I’ve heard over the last several weeks things like, “I’d like to join you, but I don’t have enough money.” As Abraham has said to those in the hotseat at their workshops, “Is that a downstream statement or an upstream statement?”….meaning “Is that statement helping you in being aligned to the positive vibration of who you really are and bringing everything you’ve asked for closer or is that statement taking you farther way from who you really are?” ‘I don’t have enough money…not enough money.’ It’s definitely going upstream against the current of positive vibration and who you really are, isn’t it? “I don’t have enough money” says that I’m not happy in my now….I want something and it’s not here yet. But we’ve learned that we must be happy in our now….happy in our journey….in order for anything we want to be able to get to us, haven’t we?
So what else could we say instead that would send us floating happily downstream bringing us closer to what we want? How about saying something like this? “I have asked for the money, and I know that the Universe answered ‘Done! It’s yours!’ Now I know that I must be easy about it and forget about it and go play and enjoy life and be happy in my now. And while I used to obsess about things I had asked for not being here fast enough, I now know that I don’t have to do that anymore because the fairies of the Universe are off happily serving me and lining up everything in perfect order. And I am so appreciative of this wonderful process and so appreciative that I know these wonderful things. And I know that I never have to think about it or ask again because it’s marching, marching, marching towards me right now. And my job is just to stay in this happy good feeling place. And isn’t this marvelous? And isn’t life grand?”
We’ve heard Abraham say that it’s as easy to produce a castle as a button, right? That means that it’s all the same energy. The reason those little things like buttons and parking spots come easily is that we ask……..and then never think about them again! Do that with the big things you ask for, too, and watch how fast they arrive.
